On January 14th, Fortune 500 enterprise software company NCR Corporation announced that it has completed the acquisition of Bitcoin ATM operator LibertyX.
On August 2, 2021, NCR and LibertyX entered into a definitive agreement under which NCR will acquire LibertyX. The deal includes LibertyX's cryptocurrency remittance business LibertyPay.
It is reported that LibertyX, founded in 2013, operates more than 10,000 ATM machines in the United States; NCR, formerly known as National Cash Register, is a software company that produces business-related products such as ATM machines, sales terminals and scanners.
